What it is

The AOZITA 16-pack of 2-ounce glass bottles provides a professional and sustainable solution for portioning wellness shots, essential oils, or homemade extracts. Constructed from thick, food-grade glass, these bottles are designed to withstand thermal changes, making them safe for both the freezer and the dishwasher. The clear design allows for immediate visual identification of contents, which is particularly useful for meal prep or apothecary use. What sets this kit apart is the attention to the seal mechanism. Rather than relying on simple flat caps, these use conical inner liners that wedge into the bottle neck to prevent leaks even during turbulent travel. The inclusion of multiple funnels and dedicated labels ensures a clean workflow when transferring liquids, eliminating the typical mess associated with small-mouth containers. This set is a reliable choice for anyone looking to reduce single-use plastic consumption while maintaining a high standard of hygiene.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 2-ounce size is perfect for TSA compliance and daily immunity shots, buyers should note that glass is inherently heavier than plastic for long-haul backpacking. The value in this kit lies in the conical cap liners, which offer superior liquid retention compared to foam-lined alternatives found in cheaper sets.

How to get the most out of it

Sterilizing for Extracts

Before filling with vanilla extract or tinctures, boil the glass bottles for 10 minutes. Ensure they are completely dry before adding oil-based contents to prevent spoilage.

Ownership tips

tip

Avoiding Expansion Cracks

When freezing ginger or wellness shots, leave a half-inch of headspace at the top. Liquids expand when frozen, and overfilling can cause the glass to crack under pressure.

care

Lid Maintenance

While the glass is dishwasher safe, hand wash the plastic lids and conical liners. High heat in some dishwashers can warp the plastic over time, compromising the airtight seal.

Frequently asked questions

Are these bottles TSA approved for carry-on luggage?

Yes, these are 2-ounce (60ml) bottles, which falls well under the TSA 3.4-ounce limit for liquids. The leak-proof caps make them excellent for shampoo or toners.

Can I use these for hot-fill liquids like hot sauce?

Yes, the thick glass is designed to handle hot liquids. However, avoid extreme temperature shocks, such as moving a boiling bottle directly into an ice bath.

Do the labels stay on in the refrigerator?

The included labels are water-resistant but not fully waterproof. They hold up well against condensation in the fridge but may peel if submerged in water for long periods.

Are the funnels large enough for thick smoothies?

The funnels are designed for thin liquids like juice, extracts, or oils. Very thick smoothies or pulpy juices may clog the narrow funnel neck and require manual pouring.
