What it is

Arm and Hammer Pet Fresh works as a supplemental cleaning agent rather than just a simple scent. By combining baking soda with OxiClean dirt fighters, the powder binds to pet hair and debris that typically gets trapped deep within carpet fibers. When you vacuum, the formula helps the bristles lift away up to 25 percent more dirt than vacuuming alone, making it an essential tool for high traffic zones where pets lounge. Beyond just removing physical debris, the formula targets stubborn smells like urine, smoke, and mildew. It does not just mask the scent with perfume but breaks down the acidic molecules that cause odors. It is a dry solution, which is ideal for quick maintenance because it requires no drying time, unlike liquid steam cleaners or foam sprays.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 25 percent vacuum boost is impressive, users should ensure their vacuum filter is clean before use to handle the fine powder. This product is most effective when brushed into the carpet with a stiff broom before suctioning. For best results on older carpets, leave the powder for 30 minutes instead of the recommended 15 to allow the OxiClean components to fully bond with debris.

Maximize Extraction

For deeply embedded hair, sprinkle the powder and use a carpet rake or stiff brush to work it into the fibers. Wait at least 15 minutes before vacuuming to allow the OxiClean to attract dust particles.
