What it is

The BEDLORE Waterproof Mattress Protector offers a blend of utility and comfort that moves away from the traditional plastic feel of older guards. By utilizing a brushed microfiber top layer with a classic quilted pattern, it provides a soft surface that avoids the crinkling sounds commonly associated with waterproof liners. The interior features an upgraded TPU backing that serves as a reliable barrier against spills, sweat, and accidents without compromising the breathability of the bedding. Functionality is highlighted by its deep pocket design, which utilizes a 360 degree elastic skirt to accommodate mattresses up to 18 inches thick. This ensures the protector stays in place even if you are a restless sleeper. Maintenance is straightforward, as the polyester construction is designed to withstand machine washing and low heat drying, making it a practical choice for households that deal with frequent messes or pet hair.

Ravvy AI insight

This protector stands out because it combines a quilted aesthetic with a functional TPU barrier, solving the issue of 'bedding slide' often found in cheaper flat sheets. When buying, ensure your dryer is set to the lowest heat possible to prevent the waterproof backing from melting or cracking over time.

How to get the most out of it

Achieving a Snug Fit

When installing, start at the head of the bed and pull the elastic skirt deep under the corners. Because it supports up to 18 inches, smaller mattresses may need a little extra tucking to ensure the top stays taut.

Ownership tips

care

Temperature Control

Always wash in cool or warm water and tumble dry on the lowest possible heat setting. High heat can damage the TPU waterproof membrane, causing it to peel or lose its liquid-blocking capabilities.

tip

Pre-Wash for Softness

Wash the protector before its first use to remove any factory sizing and to fluff up the quilted microfiber. This improves both the softness and the initial breathability of the fabric.
