What it is

The Bravokids LCD Writing Tablet offers a refreshing break from blue-light screens while providing a tactile drawing experience for toddlers and young children. At just 150 grams, this 10-inch board mimics the feel of pen on paper using pressure-sensitive technology. The colorful display allows for varied line thicknesses based on the child's pressure, making it an excellent tool for practicing letters or creative doodling without the risk of ink stains on your furniture. Built with durability in mind, the plastic frame is designed to withstand the inevitable drops and bumps of travel. The screen is non-radiative and uses a simple one-button erase function, though a physical lock switch on the back ensures that precious drawings aren't accidentally deleted. It is a highly portable solution for keeping little ones occupied during long car rides, flights, or quiet time at home.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 100,000-erase lifecycle is impressive, the real value lies in the pressure sensitivity which teaches fine motor skills better than a standard touchscreen. Note that the screen relies on reflected light, so it performs best in bright rooms or near windows. For the price, the three-year warranty is a rare and significant value add in the toy category.

Use the Lock Switch

Always flip the lock switch on the back if your child wants to save a drawing. This prevents the one-click erase button from functioning until you are ready to start over.

Screen Cleaning

Avoid using wet wipes or harsh chemicals on the LCD surface. A dry microfiber cloth is all you need to remove fingerprints and keep the display clear.
