What it is

The BSEEN LED Dog Collar is a straightforward safety accessory designed for maximum visibility during evening walks. Unlike traditional nylon collars with embedded lights, this unit is a flexible TPU tube that glows across its entire surface. It offers a 360 degree light arc that ensures your pet is visible from all angles, which is a significant safety upgrade for roadside walks or off leash park time. The green glow is particularly piercing in low light conditions, providing better contrast against dark backgrounds than red or blue alternatives. Practicality is the main focus here, as the one size fits all design eliminates the guesswork of sizing charts. You simply measure your dogs neck and snip the excess tubing with household scissors. While it serves as an excellent secondary safety light, keep in mind that this is not a load bearing collar. You must still use your dogs standard collar and leash for restraint, as this lightweight tube is intended solely for illumination and will not withstand pulling or lunging.

Ravvy AI insight

When choosing between the lighting modes, the slow flash typically extends battery life significantly compared to the solid glow setting. For the most secure fit, cut the tube slightly longer than the neck circumference to allow for two fingers of space, ensuring it does not slide over the dogs head during play.

How to get the most out of it

Customizing the Fit

Wrap the collar around your dogs neck to find the perfect length before cutting. Use sharp scissors to make a clean vertical cut on the end opposite the battery housing for the best seal.

Ownership tips

care

Maintaining the Seal

Always ensure the rubber charging port cover is pressed firmly into place. This prevents moisture and dirt from entering the electronics during damp weather or wet grass play.

tip

Battery Optimization

To preserve the lithium ion battery, avoid letting the charge drop to zero percent. A quick top up after every few long walks will keep the LEDs at peak brightness.

Frequently asked questions

Can I attach a leash to this collar?

No, this is a decorative safety light only. The TPU material and plastic connectors are not designed to withstand the tension of a leash and will break if pulled.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

Typically, you can expect between 3 to 5 hours of continuous use depending on the mode selected. The flashing modes are more energy efficient than the solid glow setting.

Is the collar waterproof for swimming?

It is water resistant enough to handle light rain and splashing, but it should not be submerged in a pool or lake. Submersion will likely damage the internal battery and charging port.

What if I cut the collar too short?

The collar cannot be lengthened once cut. It is highly recommended to cut a little bit at a time and test the fit rather than making one large cut.
