What it is

The Buenkee Dog Grooming Vacuum Kit effectively solves the headache of post-grooming cleanup by integrating a 15000Pa suction motor directly with its clipping and brushing tools. Unlike traditional clippers that leave a carpet of fur, this system pulls loose hair immediately into a large 2L dustbin. The three-speed suction adjustment allows users to balance power with noise levels, which is crucial for pets that are easily startled by loud appliances. The kit is surprisingly comprehensive for its price point, featuring stainless steel blades and a variety of attachments including a deshedding tool and a crevice nozzle for furniture. While the unit is corded and requires a 120V outlet, the design focuses on ergonomic storage for apartment dwellers. It is a practical entry-level station for owners of medium-to-long haired breeds who want to reduce professional grooming costs without turning their living room into a fur zone.

Ravvy AI insight

At 15000Pa, this unit offers higher suction than many competitors in the sub-one-hundred-dollar range, making it particularly effective for thick double coats. Potential buyers should note the 2L bin capacity is a significant upgrade over the standard 1L bins, meaning fewer interruptions during a full-body shave down.

Ownership tips

care

Filter Maintenance

To maintain the 15000Pa suction strength, rinse the foam and HEPA filters every two to three uses. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting them to prevent motor damage or odors.

tip

Clipper Lubrication

Apply a drop of clipper oil to the blades before and after each grooming session. This reduces friction and heat, ensuring a smoother cut and extending the life of the stainless steel edges.

Frequently asked questions

Can this be used on cats as well as dogs?

Yes, it is suitable for both cats and dogs. However, because cats are generally more sensitive to noise, it is recommended to use the lowest suction setting and allow them time to adjust to the vibration.

How loud is the vacuum during operation?

The device features three adjustable levels. While the highest setting provides maximum suction, it is louder. The lowest setting is designed to be as quiet as possible to keep pets calm while still capturing hair.

Does it work on thick, matted fur?

The clippers are professional grade, but very tight mats should be carefully detangled or pre-trimmed. The vacuum function is excellent for lifting the hair away from the skin to help the clippers get a more even cut.

Is the vacuum bin easy to empty?

The 2L bin features a one-click emptying mechanism. You simply detach the canister from the main base and press a button to release the collected fur directly into your trash can.
