What it is

The Carote 19-piece set is a masterclass in efficiency for those working with limited cabinet space. By removing the traditional fixed handles, this aluminum collection stacks neatly, claiming to save up to 70 percent more room than standard sets. The transition from stovetop to oven to dining table is seamless, as the pots effectively double as serving dishes and storage containers with the included airtight lids. Constructed from lightweight aluminum with a PFOA-free nonstick coating, these pans heat up quickly and require very little oil for food release. The set is surprisingly comprehensive, including two detachable handles, silicone lids for cooking, and storage lids for the fridge. While it is built for convenience, users should treat the nonstick surface with care to ensure longevity, particularly avoiding metal utensils despite the generous piece count.

Ravvy AI insight

This set provides exceptional value per piece, but buyers should note that the '19 pieces' include lids, protectors, and utensils. For the best experience, always remove the handle while the pan is inside the oven to prevent heat damage to the Bakelite mechanism, even though it is rated for high heat.

Optimal Cleaning

While these are easy to wipe down, avoid the dishwasher when possible. Hand washing with a soft sponge will preserve the nonstick properties much longer than harsh dishwasher detergents.

Ownership tips

care

Protect the Coating

Always use the included felt pan protectors when stacking these pans. Even though they are designed to nest, the bottom of one pan can scratch the nonstick interior of the one below it if not shielded.

tip

Handle Management

Remove the handle while cooking if you are not actively moving the pan. This prevents the handle from getting too hot and extends the life of the internal spring mechanism.

Frequently asked questions

Can these pans be used on induction stoves?

Yes, this Carote set features a high-magnetic conductive base that allows it to work efficiently on induction, gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops.

Is the handle sturdy enough for a full pot?

Are the lids oven safe?

The silicone-rimmed lids are generally heat resistant but the plastic storage lids are intended only for the refrigerator. Do not use storage lids in the oven or on the stovetop.
