What it is

The Durcord 10ft USB-C cable pack addresses two of the most common frustrations with modern charging: limited reach and slippery connectors. By integrating a unique anti-slippery tread on the connector housing, these cables are much easier to plug and unplug compared to smooth plastic alternatives. The generous ten foot length is ideal for power users who want to use their devices comfortably while reclining on a sofa or sitting in the back seat of a vehicle without feeling tethered to the wall. Constructed with a double-braided nylon exterior and aluminum shells, these cables are built to withstand the rigors of frequent travel and household bending. While they are restricted to USB 2.0 data speeds and a 15W power limit, they serve as highly reliable secondary charging lines for smartphones and standard tablets. The included two-pack ensures you have a backup for different rooms or travel kits without spending a premium.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 15W power rating is lower than high-end PD cables, the textured grip design is a rare ergonomic win for users with dexterity issues or those using bulky phone cases. Focus on using these for overnight bedside charging or car use where durability and length matter more than peak wattage.

How to get the most out of it

Use the Textured Grip

Place your thumb and forefinger on the treaded section of the connector when unplugging. This reduces strain on the cable-to-plug joint compared to pulling by the wire.

Ownership tips

tip

Maximize Reach

Use these 10ft cables specifically for hotel stays or backseats where power outlets are often awkwardly placed far from where you actually use your device.

care

Prevent Kinking

Although the nylon is braided and durable, always coil the cable in large loops rather than folding it sharply to maintain the integrity of the internal copper wiring.

Frequently asked questions

Can this cable charge a MacBook or USB-C laptop?

It will provide a slow trickle charge of up to 15W, but it is not recommended for laptops that typically require 60W to 100W for efficient operation.

Does it support fast charging for iPhone 15 and 16?

It supports standard 15W charging. While it is safe and reliable, it will not hit the maximum PD fast-charging speeds available with high-wattage USB-C to USB-C cables.

Is this cable compatible with CarPlay?

Yes, it supports data transfer at 480Mbps, which is sufficient for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality in most vehicles.

What makes the grip different from other cables?

The connector head features a raised, tire-tread like texture. This provides friction for your fingers, making it much easier to remove from tight ports or when your hands are cold.

Where can you buy the USB C Cable?

USB C Cable is sold through Amazon, and Durcord also lists it through its own site and major retail partners. The buy link on this page goes straight to the current Amazon listing, which is where stock and pricing update most often.

The last price Ravvy recorded was $13. Retail pricing on phone accessories moves with promotions and stock, so treat that figure as a reference point and check the live listing before you buy.

How do you get the USB C Cable for a cheaper price?

Three tactics work best: watch for holiday and seasonal sale events when phone accessories discounts run deepest, compare the open box or renewed listing against new stock, and check whether Durcord is running a coupon or bundle. Adding the product to your Ravvy wishlist keeps it handy so you can revisit the listing when prices drop.

Is the USB C Cable in stock right now?

It was in stock at our last check. Availability on popular phone accessories can change within hours, so the live listing is the source of truth.

Is the USB C Cable worth it?

Ravvy scores it 83.5 out of 100. The strongest argument for it is textured anti-slip tread on connectors. The trade off to weigh is data speeds capped at USB 2.0 (480Mbps).
