What it is
The Empava 36XGC27 brings a sophisticated aesthetic to modern kitchens with its black tempered glass surface and edge to edge cast iron grates. By utilizing genuine Italian Sabaf burners, this unit offers high performance heat distribution that rivals much more expensive luxury brands. The five burner layout is thoughtfully organized to handle everything from high heat stir frying on the 12000 BTU dual ring burner to delicate sauce reductions on the 4000 BTU simmer station. Safety is a primary focus for this model, featuring an auto shut off thermocouple that halts gas flow immediately if a flame is accidentally extinguished. The sealed burner design ensures that spills stay on the surface rather than dripping into the internal mechanics, which simplifies long term maintenance. For those looking to upgrade on a budget without sacrificing the professional look of a built in cooktop, this model provides a compelling balance of style and utility.
Ravvy AI insight
While the Sabaf burners offer excellent reliability, the tempered glass surface requires consistent cleaning with non abrasive solutions to prevent streaks. Buyers should verify their cutout dimensions carefully, as the recessed design requires a specific clearance for the 110v power cord and gas regulator.
