What it is

The Goody King Arts and Crafts Supplies kit is a comprehensive treasure trove designed to eliminate the need for multiple trips to the craft store. With over 1100 pieces including pipe cleaners, pom poms, sequins, and googly eyes, it provides a diverse foundation for open ended play. The sheer volume of materials makes it particularly suitable for households with multiple children or for teachers looking to stock a classroom station on a budget. Unlike specialized kits that guide a child toward a single finished product, this collection encourages raw imagination and fine motor development through unstructured building. While the quantity is impressive, parents should be prepared for the logistical side of such a large set. The items arrive in a compact package that can be difficult to maintain once opened. To get the most out of this kit, we recommend transferring the contents to a multi compartment organizer. The variety of textures and colors keeps engagement high for hours, making it an excellent distraction for rainy days or as a supplemental resource for school posters and holiday projects. It is a fundamental building block for any young child's creative toolkit.

Ravvy AI insight

This kit offers a very low cost per piece, making it ideal for experimental play where waste is expected. For the best experience, pair this with a high quality liquid glue, as the sheer variety of materials like sequins and felt requires a stronger bond than standard glue sticks. Check the age of the child carefully, as the small sequins and beads pose a significant choking risk for children under four.

How to get the most out of it

Mastering the Pipe Cleaners

Teach children to fold over the sharp metal ends of the pipe cleaners with small pliers or fingers to ensure the wire doesn't poke them during play.

Ownership tips

tip

Invest in a Tackle Box

Because this kit contains hundreds of small sequins and beads, using a plastic fishing tackle box or bead organizer will prevent spills and help children find specific items quickly.

care

Keep Away from Carpets

Small sequins and tiny felt scraps can easily become embedded in high pile rugs. Use a dedicated craft mat or work on a hard surface for easier cleanup.

Frequently asked questions

Does this kit include glue or scissors?

No, this is a bulk supply kit focused on materials. You will need to provide your own adhesive, such as school glue or a glue gun, and safety scissors.

Are there instructions for specific projects?

This kit is designed for open ended creativity and does not come with a manual. It is intended for kids to use their own imagination or for specific school assignments.

What is the recommended age for this kit?

The manufacturer suggests ages 4 and up. Due to the very small size of the sequins and beads, it is not suitable for children who still put objects in their mouths.

Can these supplies be used for school posters?

Absolutely. The variety of pompoms, stickers, and glittery items makes it an excellent resource for making three dimensional school presentations and science fair boards.
