What it is

Greenies Teenie treats are the industry standard for small breed oral maintenance, designed specifically for dogs weighing between 5 and 15 pounds. The unique brush shaped texture is engineered to scrub away plaque and tartar as the dog chews, reaching down to the gumline where traditional kibble often fails to clean. Unlike hard bone chews, these treats have a chewy consistency that is easier on the teeth of smaller breeds while still providing enough resistance to mechanically clean the enamel. Beyond the physical cleaning, these treats are fortified with vitamins and minerals to complement a balanced diet. The soluble ingredients are formulated for easy digestion, reducing the risk of internal blockage compared to rawhide alternatives. Regular use helps to neutralize bad breath at the source, making close interactions with your pet significantly more pleasant while supporting long term gum health.

Ravvy AI insight

While the high review volume confirms palatability, buyers should monitor their dog during the first few feedings to ensure they chew the treat rather than swallowing it whole. For maximum efficacy, these should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, professional veterinary cleanings and regular brushing.

Ownership tips

tip

Monitor the First Feeding

Always watch your dog the first few times they enjoy a Greenie. Ensure they are actively chewing the treat into small pieces rather than trying to gulp it down, which prevents potential choking or digestive upset.

care

Keep the Bag Sealed

Exposure to air can cause these treats to become hard and brittle. Always fully zip the moisture lock bag to maintain the chewy texture that is vital for effective teeth cleaning.
