What it is

The JECQCUPG Ergonomic Gaming Chair breaks away from the restrictive racing-style bucket seats commonly found in this category. By utilizing a 51cm wide wingless seat, it offers significantly more room for various sitting postures, including sitting cross-legged. The internal construction mirrors premium furniture, utilizing a combination of high-density foam and independent pocket springs to provide long-lasting support that resists sagging over time. Durability is central to this model's design, featuring a steel-reinforced frame and a sturdy five-star base rated for up to 150kg. The integrated synchronization between the backrest and armrests ensures that your elbows remain supported even when reclining at the maximum 135-degree angle. Clad in breathable, scratch-resistant PU leather, this chair balances the aggressive aesthetics of gaming gear with the practical comfort required for an eight-hour workday.

Ravvy AI insight

At its sub-100 dollar price point, the inclusion of pocket springs is a rare find that significantly improves longevity compared to pure foam alternatives. The wingless seat design is the standout feature here, making it one of the few gaming chairs truly comfortable for users who find standard bucket seats too narrow for their thighs.

How to get the most out of it

Optimizing Recline Tension

Locate the cylindrical knob under the seat to adjust the tilt tension. Tighten it if you feel like you are falling back too quickly, or loosen it for a more effortless recline experience.

Ownership tips

care

Maintaining the PU Leather

Wipe the surface once a week with a slightly damp microfiber cloth to remove skin oils and dust. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners which can cause the synthetic leather to crack or peel prematurely.

tip

Bolt Tightening Schedule

Like all mechanical office chairs, the bolts can loosen slightly with daily movement. Use the included hex key to give all main connection points a quick turn every six months to eliminate squeaks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sit cross-legged in this chair?

Yes, this is one of the primary design benefits. The wingless 51cm wide seat removes the hard side bolsters found on typical racing chairs, providing a flat surface for your legs.

Do the armrests move when I lean back?

Yes, they are synchronized armrests. This means as you recline the backrest, the armrests tilt backward in tandem to ensure your arms stay supported in a relaxed position.

What is the actual weight limit?

The chair is built with a reinforced steel frame and is officially rated to support users up to 150kg or approximately 330 pounds safely.

Is the seat cushion firm or soft?

It offers a medium-firm feel. The combination of high-density foam and pocket springs provides initial plushness but prevents you from sinking through to the hard base plate.

How long does assembly usually take?

Most users report that assembly takes between 15 to 30 minutes. The package includes all necessary tools and a set of illustrated instructions to guide you through the process.
