What it is

The JOYTUTUS Panoramic Rear View Mirror is a practical solution for drivers struggling with limited visibility. Measuring 12.2 inches, this clip-on accessory significantly expands your field of view compared to standard factory mirrors. It utilizes a slightly convex glass design to provide a wide-angle perspective, making it much easier to monitor lane changes and keep an eye on children in the back seat without constantly twisting your neck. Construction is straightforward but effective, featuring high-definition glass backed by an anti-shatter film for safety. The frame is built from durable ABS plastic that holds up well against daily vibration. While the mirror is large, its universal clip-on mechanism allows for a tool-free installation that takes seconds, though users should ensure their original mirror is flat rather than curved for the best fitment.

Ravvy AI insight

At its price point, this mirror offers one of the highest safety-to-cost ratios available. However, because it clips over your existing mirror, you will lose access to integrated buttons or auto-dimming sensors located on the front face of your factory unit.

Frequently asked questions

Will this work with my auto-dimming mirror?

The mirror will physically clip onto most auto-dimming units, but it will cover the light sensors. This means the auto-dimming feature of your original mirror will no longer function.

Does this mirror vibrate while driving?

If properly clipped and your original mirror is stable, vibration is minimal. However, because it adds weight to the factory mount, some shaking may occur on very rough roads or in vehicles with loose mirror joints.

Is the image distorted because it is convex?

The curvature is slight to provide a wider view without causing significant distortion. Objects may appear slightly smaller or further away than they actually are, similar to a passenger side wing mirror.

Can I still use my backup camera screen?

If your backup camera displays an image through the glass of your factory rearview mirror, this product will block it entirely. This is best suited for cars without integrated mirror displays.
