What it is

The KongNai Silicone Funnel Set is a practical solution for modern kitchens where storage space is at a premium. Unlike rigid plastic or metal funnels that clutter drawers, these food grade silicone tools collapse into a flat profile that fits easily into thin utility dividers or hangs on a wall hook. The set includes two large and two small sizes, providing versatility for everything from refilling salt shakers to transferring liquid detergents into narrow bottles. Constructed to withstand temperatures from -40 to 250 degrees Celsius, these funnels are safe for boiling liquids and heavy dishwasher cycles. The flexible material allows for a slight squeeze to fit into slightly irregular openings, while the vibrant colors make them easy to locate in a busy drawer. While they require a steady hand when pouring heavy liquids due to their flexible nature, they eliminate the chemical concerns often associated with older plastic kitchenware.

Ravvy AI insight

When comparing these to traditional rigid funnels, the primary tradeoff is stability versus storage. For thick oils or rapid pouring, you should support the neck of the funnel to prevent the silicone from flexing or collapsing prematurely. At this price point, the four-pack offers exceptional value for those who need dedicated funnels for both dry spices and liquid ingredients.

How to get the most out of it

Ensuring a Steady Pour

When pouring heavy liquids like olive oil, hold the rim of the funnel with one hand while pouring with the other. This prevents the silicone from bending under the weight and ensures a clean transfer.

Ownership tips

care

Removing Odors

If you use these for pungent liquids like vinegar or garlic oil, soak them in a mixture of warm water and baking soda. This will neutralize any trapped scents that the silicone might absorb.

tip

Dry Goods Transfer

Ensure the funnel is completely dry before using it for salt or spices. Even a tiny amount of moisture can cause dry ingredients to stick to the silicone walls and clog the neck.
