What it is

The LEGO Harry Potter Gringotts Wizarding Bank is a structural marvel that defies traditional building conventions. Standing over 31 inches tall, the set features the opulent bank foyer stacked atop a sprawling underground vault system. A spiraling cart track connects the three distinct vaults, allowing the included mine cart to descend into the depths of the bank just like in the films. The addition of the Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon, which can be perched atop the building, completes the iconic silhouette of Diagon Alley. Inside the set, builders will find 13 minifigures including multiple versions of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, alongside Ragnok and several goblins. The attention to detail is exceptional, from the hidden mechanism in the vaults to the meticulously designed interior of the Magical Menagerie located next door. While the verticality makes it a challenging display piece, its compatibility with the Diagon Alley set makes it the ultimate centerpiece for serious collectors.

Ravvy AI insight

This set offers a unique price-to-piece ratio for a licensed collector's edition, but its real value lies in the engineering of the vertical track. If you already own the 75978 Diagon Alley, this is an essential expansion that dramatically changes the skyline of your collection.

How to get the most out of it

Display Options

The bank and the underground vaults are modular. You can display the bank separately on a flat surface if you do not have the vertical room for the 31 inch tall combined structure.

Ownership tips

care

Moving the Model

Always lift from the base of the rockwork rather than the building itself. The connection between the bank and the vault structure is secure but should be handled with both hands for safety.

tip

Track Maintenance

Ensure the track pieces are fully snapped into place. If the mine cart hitches or stops, check the alignment of the curved rail sections to ensure a smooth gravity fed descent.
