What it is

The MOREOK Half Finger Cycling Gloves are designed for casual riders who prioritize palm comfort over technical performance. Featuring a generous 5mm gel padding system, these gloves are effective at dampening road vibrations and preventing the typical numbness that comes with long periods on the handlebars. The Lycra and microfiber blend ensures the back of the hand remains ventilated, which is essential for warm weather riding or indoor gym sessions. While the construction is lightweight and breathable, these gloves are built for utility rather than elite competition. The inclusion of a thumb wipe for sweat and finger pull tabs for easy removal shows a thoughtful approach to common rider frustrations. They function well as a multi-purpose glove, transitioning easily from a weekend bike path cruise to a weightlifting session at the local gym.

Ravvy AI insight

At this price point, the 5mm gel padding is surprisingly thick, making these a top choice for riders with nerve sensitivity or hand fatigue. However, users should monitor the stitching around the pull tabs over time, as budget-friendly microfiber can fray with aggressive daily use.

Proper Removal

Use the tabs located on the middle and ring fingers to pull the gloves off rather than tugging from the wrist. This reduces stress on the stitching and helps maintain the shape of the glove over time.

Ownership tips

care

Protect the Velcro

When machine washing these gloves, ensure the hook and loop fasteners are closed tightly. This prevents the abrasive hooks from snagging the Lycra mesh or damaging other cycling apparel in the load.

tip

Gym Cross-Training

These gloves feature a short wrist strap that won't interfere with fitness trackers or smartwatches. This makes them excellent for indoor rowing or lifting sessions where you want to track heart rate without obstruction.

Frequently asked questions

Are these gloves suitable for long-distance road cycling?

Yes, they are designed with 5mm gel pads specifically to help with road vibration over long distances. They are ideal for recreational touring, though serious racers might prefer thinner padding for better control.

Can I wash these in a washing machine?

Yes, they are machine washable. It is recommended to wash them on a gentle cycle and air dry them to preserve the integrity of the gel pads and the elastic Lycra fabric.

How do I choose the right size?

You should measure the circumference of your palm just below the knuckles. Compare your measurement to the manufacturer's size chart, and if you are between sizes, it is generally safer to size up for a comfortable fit.

Do these gloves have a grip on the palms?

The palms feature a non-slip silicone surface material over the gel pads. This provides a secure grip on handlebars or gym equipment, even when your hands are sweaty.
