What it is

The Multixel 240W GaN3 Charging Station is a powerhouse solution designed to declutter your workspace by replacing a forest of individual power bricks. It utilizes Gallium Nitride technology to manage heat efficiently, allowing for a compact form factor that fits easily on a nightstand or desk. With seven USB-C ports and a single USB-A port, it accommodates everything from high-drain laptops to low-power accessories without requiring separate adapters for each device. Performance is anchored by a primary 100W Power Delivery port, which is essential for charging modern MacBooks and high-end Windows laptops at full speed. The secondary ports offer a mix of 45W and 30W outputs, ensuring that tablets and smartphones receive rapid charging simultaneously. While the total aggregate power is distributed across eight ports, the inclusion of three high-quality braided cables adds significant out-of-the-box value that few competitors match.

Ravvy AI insight

The standout feature here isn't just the 240W total capacity, but the Port C1's dedicated 100W output which remains stable for heavy laptop use. Buyers should note that while it is marketed as travel-ready, the 1.1-pound weight and corded design make it better suited as a stationary desktop hub rather than a portable wall plug.

Managing Cable Tangles

Since this unit supports eight devices at once, use the included braided cables to identify your primary devices. The nylon threading is more durable than standard plastic and resists the kinking that often happens in multi-port setups.

care

Placement for Airflow

While GaN technology runs cooler than silicon, you should still place the hub in a ventilated area. Avoid covering it with papers or hiding it in a drawer during high-wattage charging to maintain the internal component health.
