What it is

The Nothing Ear (3) builds upon its predecessor iconic transparent aesthetic while introducing a massive technical leap in call quality. The standout feature is the Super Mic system integrated directly into the charging case. By utilizing the case as a dedicated microphone relay, Nothing solves the age-old problem of wind and background noise drowning out your voice during outdoor calls. The internal 12mm ceramic drivers have been redesigned to improve airflow, resulting in a cleaner soundstage that feels expansive for an in-ear monitor. Beyond the hardware innovations, the software integration remains a strong selling point. The Nothing X app provides a sophisticated equalizer and adaptive ANC that reacts to your environment in real time. With the addition of ChatGPT integration for Nothing phone users and a low-latency mode for gamers, these earbuds act as a versatile hub for both productivity and entertainment. The build quality feels premium with a mix of aluminum and high-grade plastic, maintaining the brand's signature industrial design language.

Ravvy AI insight

The Super Mic case-relay is a genuine innovation for frequent callers, but remember that optimal performance requires holding the case near your mouth. For the best value, ensure you use the custom sound profile setup in the app, as the default tuning can be slightly bass-heavy. The jump to Bluetooth 5.4 makes this a future-proof choice for users planning to upgrade to the latest smartphone hardware.
