What it is

The Pointcinco IM01 represents a significant shift in the budget audio market by prioritizing extreme battery endurance and modern connectivity standards. While most entry level options struggle to reach the 40 hour mark, these headphones double that capacity when active noise cancellation is disabled. The inclusion of Bluetooth 6.0 ensures a remarkably stable connection with minimal latency, making them as suitable for watching movies as they are for casual music listening. Constructed with portability in mind, the foldable chassis uses protein leather and memory foam to provide a seal that assists the internal ANC hardware. The sound profile is anchored by 40mm drivers that favor a warm, bass forward signature typical of modern consumer tuning. While the plastic build reflects its price point, the feature set including transparency modes and a wired backup option makes it a versatile tool for daily commuting and long distance travel.

Ravvy AI insight

These headphones are a strategic purchase for users who frequently forget to charge their devices, as the 80 hour runtime is currently best in class for this price bracket. While the active noise cancellation is effective for low frequency hums like airplane engines, do not expect it to silence sharp human voices as effectively as flagship models. Focus on using the transparency mode in transit to maintain situational awareness without removing the headset.
