What it is

The Qifutan Dash Mounted Holder is a versatile solution for drivers who want multiple mounting options without buying separate accessories. It combines a heavy duty suction cup with an upgraded vent clip, allowing you to switch between the windshield, dashboard, or air vent as your needs change. The carbon fiber finish adds a modern touch to your vehicle interior while providing a sturdy grip for phones ranging from 4 to 7.1 inches. Built with a telescopic arm that extends up to nearly six inches and a 360 degree rotating joint, this mount prioritizes visibility. The suction cup uses heat resistant TPU material and a double lock mechanism to prevent it from melting or falling off during summer heat. If the suction loses its grip over time, a simple wash with water restores the adhesive properties, extending the lifespan of the product significantly.

Ravvy AI insight

With over 19,000 reviews and a top category ranking, this mount succeeds because of its dual mounting hardware. To maximize the lifespan of the suction cup, avoid applying it to porous surfaces and ensure the dashboard is completely free of cleaning oils before installation.

Ownership tips

tip

Optimal Dash Placement

Avoid placing the mount directly over an airbag deployment zone. Use the extendable arm to bring the phone closer to your reach without obstructing your view of the road ahead.

care

Vent Clip Installation

When using the vent clip, ensure the hook is securely latched onto a horizontal blade. Do not over tighten as modern car plastic can become brittle in extreme temperatures.

Frequently asked questions

Will this hold a phone with a thick case?

Yes, this mount accommodates devices up to 14mm thick. This generally includes standard protective cases, though extremely bulky battery cases or wallet cases might be tight.

Can I move it from the dashboard to the windshield?

Absolutely. The suction cup is designed for both surfaces. Just ensure you clean the glass or dash surface before switching to maintain a strong lock.

Does it work with circular vents?

No, the hook mechanism is specifically engineered for horizontal or vertical slat vents. Circular or rotating aircraft style vents will not provide a stable attachment point.

Is the dashboard pad required for windshield use?

The 3M dashboard pad is not required for windshield installation. The suction cup is designed to create a direct vacuum seal against the glass surface.
