What it is

The Redragon S107 Gaming Combo offers a practical solution for casual gamers who want a coordinated RGB look without the steep price tag of mechanical gear. The keyboard utilizes floating membrane keycaps that mimic the aesthetics of a mechanical board while providing a quieter, softer typing experience. With 25-key anti-ghosting and 12 dedicated multimedia shortcuts, it handles intensive gaming sessions and daily office tasks with equal competence. The standout of this pair is the upgraded gaming mouse, which punches well above its weight class. It features an adjustable optical sensor reaching 10,000 DPI via software and a polling rate of 1000Hz, ensuring smooth tracking that rivals more expensive standalone peripherals. Both devices integrate seamlessly with Redragon's software, allowing for macro programming and lighting customization that adds a layer of professional utility to a budget-friendly package.

Ravvy AI insight

While the keyboard is membrane-based, the mouse is the true value driver here with its 1000Hz polling rate and software support. Users should download the official drivers immediately to unlock the full 10,000 DPI potential, as the physical button only cycles up to 5,000 DPI. This combo is ideal for someone transitioning from standard office peripherals to a gaming-centric setup without overspending.

Ownership tips

tip

Optimizing Polling Rate

For the smoothest cursor movement in shooters, set the mouse polling rate to 1000Hz in the software. This ensures your computer registers mouse movements every millisecond, reducing input lag.

care

Cleaning the Keycaps

Since these are floating keycaps, you can easily use compressed air to blow out debris from beneath the keys. Avoid harsh chemicals on the skin-friendly coating to prevent the finish from peeling over time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the keyboard mechanical or membrane?

This is a membrane keyboard designed with floating keycaps to look like a mechanical board. It offers a quieter typing experience which is better for shared rooms but lacks the tactile click of mechanical switches.

Can I turn off the RGB lights?

Yes, both the keyboard and mouse have settings to disable the lighting. You can cycle through modes using the function keys on the keyboard or through the downloadable software for both devices.

Does this work with Mac or consoles?

The set is plug and play for basic functions on Mac and most consoles like PS5 or Xbox. However, the customization software is only compatible with Windows, meaning you cannot program macros or specific DPI steps on other platforms.
