What it is

The Roku Ultra (2024 Edition) represents the pinnacle of the brand's streaming hardware, featuring a significant processing boost that makes app launches nearly instantaneous. This box is designed for home theater enthusiasts who want a stable, hardwired connection via Ethernet or the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard. It supports the full suite of cinematic standards including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos, ensuring that your 4K television reaches its full visual potential. Beyond raw performance, the real star is the included Voice Remote Pro. It eliminates the constant need for disposable batteries with a USB-C rechargeable internal cell and features a convenient lost-remote finder that chirps when you cannot find it in the cushions. The hands-free voice commands and backlit buttons add a layer of luxury that distinguishes this flagship model from cheaper sticks and entry-level players.

Ravvy AI insight

While most users can get by with the Roku Streaming Stick, the Ultra is the only model that offers both a dedicated Ethernet port and a USB port for local media. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 makes it a future-proof choice for those with modern routers, providing much better stability for high-bitrate 4K content than older 2.4GHz devices.
