What it is

The TQU LCD Writing Tablet set provides a cost effective solution for parents looking to reduce screen time and paper waste. This four pack features pressure sensitive screens that display multi colored lines, allowing children to doodle, practice handwriting, or solve math problems without the mess of markers or chalk. The lightweight ABS plastic construction makes these boards easy for small hands to carry, while the internal button battery ensures they are ready to use right out of the box. Functionality is straightforward with a single clear button and a dedicated lock switch on the back to prevent accidental erasures. While the screen brightness is dependent on ambient light and the casing is relatively thin, the sheer value of receiving four separate units makes this an excellent choice for multi child households. It is a distraction free tool that works well in cars, restaurants, or during quiet time at home.

Ravvy AI insight

At roughly two dollars per tablet, this set is a commodity leader in the toy category. The pressure sensitive technology is basic but effective for motor skill development. Buyers should note that while these are called LCDs, they are not backlit, meaning they are best used in well lit environments to see the colorful strokes clearly.

Use in Bright Light

Because these tablets use reflective liquid crystal technology without a backlight, colors appear most vibrant when used under direct sunlight or bright indoor lamps.
