What it is

The ULTRA FUEGO Power Cage is an ambitious all-in-one solution for fitness enthusiasts looking to build a serious home gym without spending thousands. Built with 50mm x 50mm steel uprights and a vibrant powder-coated finish, this rack provides a stable environment for squats, bench presses, and pull-ups. The inclusion of a dedicated pulley system and a 360-degree landmine attachment significantly expands its utility, allowing for a diverse range of movements usually reserved for commercial facilities. While it occupies a significant footprint, the design maximizes space by integrating weight plate storage pegs directly onto the frame. This not only keeps your workout area organized but also adds necessary ballast to the base, improving stability during heavy lifts. The 1000-pound weight capacity is impressive for this price bracket, though the 1.5mm steel thickness suggests it is best suited for intermediate lifters rather than professional powerlifters moving massive loads daily.

Ravvy AI insight

When comparing this to high-end brands like Rogue or REP, the main trade-off is the 14-gauge steel thickness versus the industry-standard 11-gauge. For most residential users, this is a non-issue, but we recommend always using the weight storage pegs to anchor the frame. The pulley system is a plate-loaded style, which is more cost-effective but requires you to have a steady supply of 1-inch or 2-inch plates to operate.

How to get the most out of it

Optimizing Assembly

Do not fully tighten the bolts until the entire frame is standing. This allows you to square the rack on your floor first, ensuring the safety bars and J-hooks slide in and out easily.

Ownership tips

tip

Enhance Stability

Always load your heaviest weight plates onto the storage pegs at the bottom of the rack. This lowers the center of gravity and prevents the cage from shifting during vigorous pull-ups or dips.

care

Cable Maintenance

Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the pulley tracks and cables every three months. This ensures a smooth glide and prevents the coating on the cables from fraying over time.
