What it is

The Uniflasy 79027 is a heavy-duty protective solution designed specifically for the Recteq RT-590 and Deck Boss series. Crafted from 600D polyester with a reinforced PVC backing, this cover acts as a robust shield against harsh UV rays, torrential rain, and winter snow. The material is thick enough to prevent accidental snags on the grill's hardware while maintaining enough flexibility to be removed easily during grilling season. Attention to detail sets this cover apart from generic alternatives. It incorporates integrated air vents to allow moisture to escape, significantly reducing the risk of internal condensation that leads to rust. The addition of reflective safety tape and reinforced lift handles ensures the cover is as functional as it is protective, providing high visibility in low light and making the process of uncovering your smoker a simple task.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 600D fabric is standard for premium covers, the integrated air vents are the real value here because pellet grills are highly sensitive to moisture-related electronics failure. We recommend this for humid climates where condensation buildup is a primary concern for rust prevention. The reflective tape is a minor but effective safety feature for suburban backyards where kids or pets might roam at night.

Ownership tips

care

Cool Down First

Always allow your pellet grill to cool completely before applying the cover. The PVC lining can melt or bond to the metal surface if it comes into contact with high heat.

tip

Vent Check

Periodically check the hidden vents to ensure they aren't blocked by debris or spider webs. Proper airflow is essential for keeping your smoker dry and rust-free.

Frequently asked questions

Is this cover compatible with the Recteq Deck Boss 590?

Yes, this cover is specifically sized to fit both the original RT-590 and the newer Deck Boss 590 models, accommodating the standard chimney and side shelf configurations.

Will the color fade after one summer in the sun?

The 600D polyester is treated with UV-resistant coatings to slow down fading. While all black fabrics will eventually lighten under constant direct sunlight, this material is designed to last several seasons.

How do the vents work to prevent rust?

The vents allow air to circulate while keeping rain out. This prevents humidity from being trapped against the metal, which is the leading cause of corrosion on pellet smokers.

Is it machine washable?

It is not recommended to machine wash this cover as the agitator can damage the PVC lining. Instead, hose it down with water and use a soft brush with mild soap for stubborn stains.
