What it is

The YYJO Foldable Power Tower breaks the mold of traditional bulky gym equipment by utilizing a triangular frame that collapses for slim storage. Constructed from 1.2mm carbon steel, this unit provides a surprisingly stable platform for pull ups, dips, and leg raises without the need for permanent floor mounting. The open design removes the common backrest obstruction, allowing for a more natural range of motion during core exercises. While most power towers dominate a corner of the room forever, this model is designed for users in smaller living spaces who need to reclaim their floor area after a workout. With eleven height adjustment levels reaching up to 82.68 inches, it accommodates various ceiling heights and family members of different statures. The inclusion of resistance bands further extends the utility, making it a comprehensive station for full body conditioning beyond simple bodyweight movements.

Ravvy AI insight

When comparing this to standard power towers, the triangular base is the key differentiator for stability versus footprint. Users should prioritize tightening the adjustment knobs fully before every session to minimize the lateral sway inherent in folding joints. At this price point, the 350lb weight limit is generous, but the unit performs best for controlled, strict movements rather than explosive cross training.

Ownership tips

care

Bolt Maintenance

Periodically check all hardware and bolts for loosening caused by the vibration of repetitive exercises. Tightening these every few weeks will extend the life of the frame and improve safety.

tip

Progression with Bands

Use the included resistance bands to assist with pull ups if you cannot perform a full rep. Loop them over the top bar and place your knee or foot in the strap to reduce the effective bodyweight you are lifting.

Frequently asked questions

Does this pull up bar require permanent installation?

No, this is a completely free standing unit that does not require being bolted to the floor or wall. Its triangular base provides the necessary leverage to stay upright during standard bodyweight exercises.

What are the dimensions when it is folded?

When collapsed for storage, the footprint reduces to approximately 33.46 inches by 6.3 inches. This allows you to slide it behind a door or against a wall to save space when not in use.

Is the height tall enough for adults over six feet?

The maximum height setting is 82.68 inches. While taller users may need to bend their knees slightly during dead hangs, the 11 adjustment levels provide enough range for most adults to perform full range of motion dips and pull ups.

Can I perform kipping pull ups on this station?

It is recommended to stick to strict, controlled movements. Because it is a foldable and relatively lightweight station, aggressive swinging or kipping could cause the base to shift or lift off the ground.
