What it is

The Amazon Basics 4-Piece Luggage Set delivers a coordinated travel solution that covers every stage of a trip, from the overhead bin to the hotel vanity. The set includes a 22 inch carry-on and a 28 inch checked bag, both featuring a scratch-resistant ABS hard shell and 360-degree spinner wheels. The rose gold finish gives these entry-level pieces a more premium appearance than their price tag suggests, while the interior organization includes zippered dividers and compression straps to keep belongings secure during transit. Beyond the primary suitcases, this kit stands out by including a 15 inch tote and a 10 inch accessory bag. The tote features a smart sleeve, allowing it to slide over the luggage handles for stable transport through busy terminals. While these lack the heavy-duty reinforcements found in luxury brands, the expandable design allows for 15 percent more packing capacity, making them ideal for souvenir hunters or those who struggle with over-packing on shorter trips.

Ravvy AI insight

At roughly thirty dollars per piece, this set is a logistical win for college students or infrequent flyers. To maximize longevity, focus on using the carry-on for heavy items and avoid over-stuffing the checked bag, as the ABS material is less flexible under extreme pressure compared to premium luggage.

Ownership tips

care

Clean Scuffs Early

Use a magic eraser or a damp cloth with mild soap to remove black scuff marks from the rose gold shell after flights. Regular cleaning prevents the finish from looking dull over time.

tip

Nesting Storage

When not in use, store the three smaller bags inside the 28 inch checked suitcase. This nesting design saves significant closet space and keeps the entire set organized for your next trip.
