What it is

The Ayeboovi Toss and Catch Ball Game revitalizes a classic outdoor staple by addressing the primary flaw of older versions: durability. This set features four paddles reinforced with waterproof padding and stronger stitching designed to prevent the surface from peeling away during intense play. The high-grip hook-and-loop surface ensures that the soft balls stick reliably, making it an excellent introductory tool for younger children who are still mastering their motor skills. Designed for group play, this kit includes four paddles and four balls, allowing families or small groups to play simultaneously. The set comes with a convenient carry bag for portability, making it a staple for beach trips, park visits, or backyard birthday parties. It is a screen-free way to encourage physical activity and hand-eye coordination across different age groups, from toddlers to nostalgic adults.

Ravvy AI insight

While most toss games in this category are sold as pairs, this four-paddle set offers much better value for group settings. The 'Upgraded' label is legitimate here as the internal plastic plate is less prone to snapping than generic alternatives, though we recommend keeping the Velcro dry to maintain the strongest grip over time.

care

Clean the Velcro Surface

If the paddles lose their stickiness, check for lint or hair trapped in the hooks. Use a fine-tooth comb or another piece of hook-and-loop tape to gently pull away debris and restore the grip.

Beach Use Advice

While the paddles are waterproof, try to shake off excess sand before sticking the ball to the surface. Excessive sand can act as a barrier between the ball fibers and the paddle hooks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ball hard or soft?

The balls are relatively soft and lightweight, similar to a tennis ball but with a fuzzier exterior designed to stick to the paddles. They are safe for children but should still be used with supervision.

Can adults use these paddles too?

Yes, the back of each paddle features an adjustable strap that can be widened to fit adult hands comfortably, making it a great cross-generational game.

How many players can use this at once?

This specific set comes with four paddles and four balls, allowing for two separate pairs to play or a four-person group game.

Will the middle part pop out easily?

This 'Upgraded' version features reinforced stitching around the edges specifically to prevent the plastic center and Velcro surface from popping out, which was a common issue with older designs.
