What it is

Revitalizing a high-end Napoleon grill often feels like an expensive endeavor, but this BBQration replacement kit offers a cost-effective way to restore even heat distribution and reliable ignition. The set includes five heat plates and three main burners specifically sized for the Rogue and Freestyle series. Crafted from stainless steel, these components are designed to handle the high-heat environment and moisture found in both propane and natural gas setups, preventing the common flare-ups caused by corroded factory parts. Installation is straightforward for those comfortable with basic grill maintenance, as the dimensions closely mirror the original equipment. While these are aftermarket parts, the gauge of the steel provides a sturdy feel that resists warping under standard grilling temperatures. It is an essential kit for owners seeing signs of uneven flames or rusted-out sear plates who want to extend their grill's lifespan without paying premium manufacturer prices.

Ravvy AI insight

When installing aftermarket burners, always check the air shutter adjustment to ensure a clean blue flame, as third-party parts may require slight tuning compared to factory originals. This specific 5-pack of heat plates is a high-value inclusion since heat shields typically corrode faster than the burners themselves.

How to get the most out of it

Clear the Gas Ports

Before installing new burners, use a small brush to ensure the gas orifices on the grill manifold are clear of spider webs or debris. This ensures the new burners light instantly and provide an even flame across the entire tube.

Ownership tips

care

Season the Heat Plates

To extend the life of your new stainless steel heat plates, lightly coat them with a high-smoke point cooking oil before the first use. This creates a protective barrier against salty drippings and moisture that cause premature pitting.

tip

Verify Model Numbers

Napoleon has many sub-variants like the Rogue XT and SE. Double check your specific model number on the back of the grill or inside the cabinet to ensure the 17-inch burner length matches your existing hardware.
