What it is
The QuliMetal 600D cover offers a robust alternative to expensive name brand options for Woodridge series owners. Constructed from heavy duty polyester oxford fabric, it features an upgraded PVC layer designed to withstand torrential rain and intense sun exposure without fading or becoming brittle. The material maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, avoiding the common cracking issues seen with thinner vinyl covers. What sets this cover apart is the thoughtful engineering for real world use. The zippered expansion allows for a custom fit regardless of whether your side shelves are folded or extended, while integrated air vents promote airflow to prevent moisture buildup and rust. It is a practical choice for those who want professional grade protection without paying the premium manufacturer price tag.
Ravvy AI insight
While the 600D fabric is significantly more durable than basic 210D or 300D alternatives, the real value lies in the dual air vents. By allowing trapped moisture to escape, it prevents the internal condensation that leads to premature pellet grill corrosion. Check your specific model dimensions as the 67 inch length is generous but may sag on smaller units.

How to get the most out of it
Ensure Grill is Fully Cooled
Never place the cover on a warm grill. The internal heat can cause the PVC lining to melt or fuse to the metal surface, which permanently damages both the grill finish and the cover material.
Ownership tips
care
Clean with Mild Soap Only
Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing this cover as it can strip the PVC waterproof layer. Use a soft brush and mild dish soap to spot clean any bird droppings or tree sap before rinsing with a garden hose.
tip
Use the Vents Strategically
Make sure the vents are not obstructed by the grill's placement against a wall. Proper airflow through these vents is critical for preventing the humid microclimate that causes pellet hopper rust.
Frequently asked questions
Will this cover fit if I have my side shelves extended?
Yes, this cover features a zippered design specifically for this purpose. You can unzip the sides to expand the cover width for extended shelves or zip them up for a snug fit when shelves are folded.
Is the fabric prone to fading in direct sunlight?
The 600D polyester is treated with a UV resistant coating designed to minimize fading. While all fabrics eventually show wear from sun exposure, this heavy duty grade lasts much longer than standard covers.
How does this compare to the official Traeger BAC776 cover?
This cover offers comparable 600D thickness and weatherproofing at a significantly lower price point. It also includes added features like reflective strips and adjustable zippers that are not always present on OEM models.
Can this cover handle heavy snow loads?
The reinforced double stitching and 600D fabric are designed to support the weight of snow. However, it is recommended to brush off heavy accumulation periodically to prevent the fabric from stretching over time.
