What it is

The CWLAKON Outdoor Games set brings back the nostalgia of traditional field days with a comprehensive collection of relay race staples. The kit includes four heavy-duty oxford cloth potato sacks, four 3-legged race bands, an egg-and-spoon relay set, and a dozen medals to celebrate the winners. Built from durable materials rather than disposable plastics, these components are designed to survive the high energy of a competitive family barbecue or a school festival. What sets this set apart is the versatility of the sack sizes. At 34 inches tall, the bags are large enough for adults to join the fun without feeling restricted, while still being manageable for children over the age of three. The use of oxford cloth instead of traditional burlap means no itchy skin or messy fibers, making it a cleaner choice for storage and repetitive use across multiple seasons.

Ravvy AI insight

While the oxford cloth is superior to itchy burlap for kids, users should check the stitching on the 3-legged race bands before heavy use, as these are the high-tension points. The inclusion of medals adds significant psychological value for children, making it a complete turnkey solution for birthday planning.

Ownership tips

care

Cleaning the Oxford Sacks

After a day in the dirt, wipe the oxford sacks with a damp cloth or hand wash with mild soap. Ensure they are completely dry before folding to prevent any mildew during storage.

tip

Optimizing the Egg Race

The included plastic eggs are very light. For an added challenge for adults, you can replace them with real hard-boiled eggs or even tennis balls to change the balance requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Are the bags big enough for a tall adult?

Yes, the sacks are 34 inches tall and 17 inches wide. This allows most adults to fit their legs inside comfortably, though very tall individuals will need to hold the handles at waist height.

Is the material itchy like traditional burlap?

No, these are made from oxford cloth, which is a smooth, durable fabric. It eliminates the scratching and dust common with old-fashioned jute or burlap bags.

How many people can play at once?

The set includes enough equipment for 4 people to race in sacks, 8 people to participate in the 3-legged race, and 4 people for the egg relay simultaneously.

Are the 3-legged race bands adjustable?

The bands are made of an elastic material that stretches to fit different leg sizes, accommodating both a child paired with an adult or two adults together.
