What it is

The Earth Rated Dog Poop Bag Holder and 900-count bundle is a comprehensive solution for pet owners who prioritize consistency and value. The dispenser features a click and lock mechanism that prevents rolls from unraveling during movement, while the silicone strap offers a more secure, rattle free attachment compared to traditional plastic clips. The bags themselves are notably thick and leak proof, providing a reliable barrier that prevents messes and reduces odor transfer without the use of artificial fragrances. This bulk pack addresses the common frustration of running out of bags at inconvenient times. The 900 bag supply can last a single dog household over a year, depending on walk frequency. The dispenser also includes a signature hook on the back, designed to hold knotted, used bags so you do not have to carry waste by hand until reaching a trash receptacle. It is a simple but effective ergonomic upgrade for the daily walking routine.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 900 bag count offers the lowest price per unit, check your storage space as the box is surprisingly heavy at nearly two kilograms. The silicone strap is the standout feature here because it does not snap like cheap plastic carabiners, making it a better choice for active hikers or runners.

How to get the most out of it

Using the Hands Free Hook

Once you have tied a knot in the used bag, slide the knot through the plastic hook on the back of the dispenser. This allows the bag to hang securely from the leash so your hands remain free for the rest of the walk.

Ownership tips

care

Cleaning the Dispenser

Since the dispenser is made of smooth plastic and silicone, you can easily wipe it down with a damp cloth or a pet-safe disinfectant. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might degrade the silicone strap over time.

tip

Refill Awareness

When you reach the last three bags on a roll, you will see a small sticker or indicator. Keep a spare roll in your car or pocket if you are heading out on a long hike to ensure you never run out.

Frequently asked questions

Are these bags biodegradable or compostable?

These specific bags are high-quality plastic designed to be leak-proof, but they are not certified compostable. If you require bags for a green bin program, look for the Earth Rated compostable line instead.

Will the dispenser fit other brands of bags?

Yes, this dispenser is designed to fit most standard sized poop bag rolls. However, it works most smoothly with Earth Rated rolls which are specifically measured for the internal locking mechanism.

How long will 900 bags actually last?

For a single dog used twice a day, this box will last approximately 450 days, or about 15 months. It is one of the most cost effective ways to manage pet waste.

Does the silicone strap break easily?

The silicone strap is reinforced and designed to be more flexible and durable than plastic clips. It handles the tension of a pulling dog much better than rigid plastic alternatives.
