What it is

The HICC PET Glove Wipes represent a clever evolution of the standard flat grooming cloth. By adopting a five finger glove design, these wipes allow pet owners to reach difficult crevices between paw pads and around the ears with much higher precision. The textured canvas material is surprisingly durable, holding up against coarse fur without shredding, and the coconut oil infusion helps lift dander while leaving the coat noticeably softer. Unlike standard wipes that often feel flimsy, these provide a tactile experience that mimics actual petting, which can be less stressful for anxious animals. While these are marketed as a bath alternative, they are best categorized as a heavy duty maintenance tool rather than a total replacement for deep cleaning. The plant based formula including aloe and oat extract is gentle enough for daily use, which is essential for pets with environmental allergies that bring pollen indoors. For senior pets or those recovering from surgery who cannot be submerged in water, these gloves provide a sanitary solution that manages odors without the mess of traditional shampooing.

Ravvy AI insight

The higher price point is justified by the dual-sided glove architecture which effectively doubles the usable surface area compared to a standard wipe. When analyzing the 20-count pack, owners should focus on the quality of the canvas material which prevents dirt transfer back onto the pet. For maximum value, use one side for the face and body and the reverse side for paws and the rear area to maximize every glove.

How to get the most out of it

Maximize Surface Area

Use the palm side of the glove for the back and sides first, then flip the glove or use the finger tips for targeted cleaning of the paws and tail. This ensures you do not spread paw dirt onto the main coat.

Ownership tips

tip

Calm Anxious Pets

Because the wipe mimics the sensation of petting, use long and slow strokes. This helps nervous cats or dogs associate the cleaning process with a massage rather than a chore.

care

Seal Tight

Always ensure the plastic seal is pressed firmly shut after each use. The high moisture content is what makes these effective, and the botanical oils can dry out if exposed to air for too long.
