What it is

The LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses offers a sophisticated building experience that translates the classic romantic gesture into a permanent art piece. Unlike previous floral sets, this kit provides a realistic variety of bloom stages, featuring four roses in full bloom, four blossoming, and four delicate buds. Accompanied by four sprigs of baby's breath, the set utilizes clever part usage to achieve organic shapes that look remarkably convincing from a distance. The build is divided into six bags with separate instructions, making it a perfect social activity for couples or small groups. Functionally, this set solves the primary issue with real flowers: longevity. The stems are sturdy and long enough to fit into standard vases, providing a pop of color for home or office desks without the need for water or sunlight. The deep red color palette is rich and consistent, while the building process itself serves as a calming, mindful activity for adults. It stands as a premier example of how the Botanical Collection has matured into a genuine interior design solution rather than just a hobbyist toy.

Ravvy AI insight

While the price point is slightly higher than a fresh bouquet, the value lies in its permanence and the shared experience of construction. For the best visual impact, pair this with a heavy glass or ceramic vase to offset the lightness of the plastic stems and prevent tipping.

How to get the most out of it

Vary the Heights

You can slightly adjust the length of the stems by removing or adding small Technic connectors. Mixing the heights of the buds and full blooms creates a more natural and professional floral arrangement.

Ownership tips

tip

Use a Narrow Neck Vase

Because the stems are smooth plastic, they can slide around in wide containers. Using a vase with a narrower opening helps the roses stay upright and grouped together for a fuller look.

care

Dusting Techniques

To keep the red petals vibrant, use a soft makeup brush or a can of compressed air every few months. This prevents dust buildup in the small crevices of the blooming petals.

Frequently asked questions

How tall are the roses once built?

The longest rose in the set measures over 12 inches (31 cm) tall. This makes them roughly the size of a standard long stemmed rose you would buy at a florist.

Is a vase included in the box?

No, the set includes the bricks to build the roses and baby's breath only. You will need to provide your own vase for display.

Can multiple people build this at the same time?

Yes, LEGO specifically designed this set for group play. It includes separate instruction booklets for different sections so friends or couples can build simultaneously.

Is this set difficult for beginners?
