What it is

The TwoPone Outdoor Pizza Oven Cover is a dedicated protective solution designed specifically for the substantial dimensions of the Ooni Koda 2 Max. Crafted from heavy duty Oxford cloth, this cover acts as a reliable shield against the unpredictable elements of outdoor storage. The fabric is treated to resist water penetration and UV degradation, ensuring that your high end oven remains free from rust and sun fading even when left on a patio or deck. Security is a primary focus of this design, featuring a robust elasticized hem that cinches tightly around the base. This snug fit prevents the wind from catching the material and ensures that sensitive components, such as the temperature display and control knobs, remain fully enclosed. The addition of reinforced buckle handles on the underside makes it easier to maneuver the cover or lift the oven for transport during camping trips or backyard gatherings.

Ravvy AI insight

While the manufacturer lists the dimensions as 1x1x1 inches in the technical specs, this is a data error; the product is sized specifically for the 24-inch Koda 2 Max. Check the buckle tension periodically, as heavy winds can put stress on the plastic clips if not properly tightened around the oven base.

Achieving a Snug Fit

Pull the elastic drawstring tight and click the buckles underneath the oven body. This creates a vacuum-like seal that prevents pests and moisture from entering the bottom.

Ownership tips

care

Wait for the Cool Down

Never place the cover on the oven while it is still hot. The high temperatures of the Ooni stone and shell can melt the internal waterproof coating of the Oxford cloth.

tip

Winter Storage Strategy

If storing the oven outdoors during heavy snow, clear the top of the cover periodically. While waterproof, the weight of accumulated snow can stretch the fabric over time.

Frequently asked questions

Does this cover fit the Ooni Koda 16?

This specific model is oversized for the Koda 16. It is designed for the much larger 24-inch Koda 2 Max, so it would be quite loose on smaller oven models.

Is the material breathable to prevent mold?

The Oxford cloth is tightly woven to be waterproof. It is recommended to ensure the oven is completely dry before covering to prevent trapping moisture inside.

Can I wash this in a washing machine?

Machine washing is not recommended as it can strip away the UV-resistant and waterproof coatings. Simply hose it down or wipe it with a wet rag for best results.

Are the handles strong enough to carry the oven?

The handles are designed to assist in positioning the cover and carrying the oven locally. However, always support the weight of the oven from the bottom for long distances.
