What it is

The WESTHEY AP02 stands out as a versatile entry-level air purifier that punches above its weight class. Despite its compact footprint, it utilizes a 360-degree intake system and an H13 True HEPA filter to manage large rooms up to 1650 square feet. The inclusion of a digital PM2.5 display is a premium touch at this price point, providing users with immediate visual feedback on air quality via a color-coded light system. What sets this model apart is the integration of lifestyle features like a built-in aromatherapy diffuser and a customizable ambient night light. While it operates at a very low 15dB in sleep mode, the intelligent auto-mode ensures the unit ramps up performance only when pollutants are detected, maximizing energy efficiency. It is a solid choice for those needing a multi-functional device that handles everything from pet dander to wildfire smoke while doubling as a mood light.

Ravvy AI insight

The WESTHEY H13 offers exceptional value by including a PM2.5 sensor, a feature often omitted in budget purifiers under $70. While the 1650 square foot coverage rating is based on slower air exchange, it excels in standard bedrooms or offices where the 15dB sleep mode provides near-silent operation without sacrificing filtration quality.

Ownership tips

care

Maintain the Pre-Filter

The outer layer of the filter captures large hair and dust. Vacuum this washable layer once every two weeks to prevent airflow restriction and extend the life of the HEPA core.

tip

Optimize Aromatherapy

Only apply 2 to 3 drops of essential oil to the dedicated aroma pad. Over-saturating the pad can lead to residue buildup near the fan assembly which may attract dust.
