What it is

The Zakkart SnugCloud elevates the standard window perch by integrating a patented folding mechanism that solves the most common feline furniture headache. Unlike rigid platforms, this model swings upward to sit just over four inches from the glass, allowing you to close your curtains or blinds at night without dismantling the entire setup. The heavy-duty metal frame provides a rigid foundation that eliminates the sagging often found in fabric-only hammocks, supporting cats up to 40 pounds with ease. Comfort is a primary focus here, as the perch includes a fully removable bolster bed finished in soft faux rabbit fur. This cushioned border provides a secure sense of enclosure for cats who prefer leaning against a surface while they nap. The cordless design also eliminates the hazard of dangling wires, making it a safer choice for households with multi-cat households where play can get rowdy. It serves as both a high-altitude observation deck and a cozy retreat that integrates seamlessly into modern living spaces.

Ravvy AI insight

While the 40-pound weight limit is impressive, suction cup performance is heavily dependent on surface preparation. We recommend cleaning the glass with rubbing alcohol and soaking the cups in warm water for three minutes before installation to ensure the chemical bonds achieve maximum grip for heavier cats. The inclusion of a one-year suction cup replacement program adds significant value, addressing the most common point of failure in this product category.

Ownership tips

care

Washing the Bolster

Remove the plush cover from the metal frame before laundering. Use a gentle cycle with cold water and tumble dry on low heat to keep the faux fur soft and prevent the bolster filling from clumping.

tip

Nightly Folding

Take advantage of the folding feature to close your blinds every evening. This not only protects your privacy but also prevents your cat from getting behind the curtains and potentially knocking items off the windowsill.
