What it is

The Deep Dear Extra Large Dog Pads offer a significant upgrade over standard thin liners by utilizing a specialized six layer construction. The standout feature is the perforated film top layer which functions like a one way valve. This design pulls moisture away from the surface faster than traditional non woven fabrics, ensuring that paws stay dry and preventing the messy tracking of urine across your hardwood or tile floors. Constructed with a thickened polyethylene backing, these pads are designed to withstand the claws of active puppies or larger dogs without tearing. The massive 26 by 30 inch surface area provides a generous target for pets, making it a reliable choice for senior dogs with incontinence or for owners who need to leave their pets home for extended work shifts. Its capacity to hold up to seven cups of liquid ensures that one pad can often last an entire day without leaking through to the carpet below.

Ravvy AI insight

While marketed for dogs, the perforated film surface makes these particularly effective for rabbits or guinea pigs who are sensitive to surface dampness. Pay attention to the 40 count quantity as the thicker materials mean a larger storage footprint in your home compared to generic 100 count boxes.

Placement Strategy

Place the pad in a consistent, quiet corner away from the dogs food and sleeping area. If the dog misses the pad, move it slightly closer to their preferred spot until they are consistent.

Ownership tips

tip

Multi Pet Usage

Because these pads feature a perforated film top, they work excellently under hay racks for rabbits or guinea pigs. The film prevents the hay from sticking to the pad as easily as it does to quilted fabric tops.

Disposal Best Practices

Fold the pad inward starting from the edges to trap any loose liquid before lifting. Dispose in a lidded trash bin to minimize odors since these pads are designed to hold a full day of waste.

Frequently asked questions

How many pads are included in one package?

This specific package contains 40 extra large pads. Each pad measures 30 inches by 26 inches, providing ample surface area for larger dogs or multiple small pets.

Can these pads be used for senior dogs with incontinence?

Are these pads scented to attract dogs?

These pads focus on high performance absorption and leak prevention rather than artificial pheromone attractants. Most dogs will naturally use them if placed in a familiar potty area.
