What it is

The FURNIMATE 300-piece felt pad collection is a comprehensive solution for homeowners looking to silence noisy chairs and safeguard delicate flooring. This massive variety pack eliminates the guesswork of sizing by providing ten different pre-cut shapes, ranging from tiny round dots for cabinet doors to large rectangular sheets that can be customized for heavy sofas. The 1/8 inch thickness offers a low-profile buffer that provides effective scratch resistance without making furniture look elevated or unstable. Crafted with a focus on ease of installation, these pads feature a high-tack adhesive designed to grip wood, metal, and plastic legs. While many felt pads tend to slide off under the lateral pressure of heavy movement, these rely on a dense felt composition that resists compression. The black colorway is particularly well-suited for dark espresso furniture or modern metal legs, ensuring the protection remains discrete and professional throughout your home.

Ravvy AI insight

This kit stands out due to the high count of 1-inch pads, which are the industry standard for dining chairs, making it more practical than competitors that inflate piece counts with tiny, unusable dots. For maximum effectiveness, users should replace these annually on high-traffic chairs as the felt will naturally compress and collect grit over time. The inclusion of a 4x6 inch customizable sheet is a high-value addition for protecting odd-shaped decorative items or oversized furniture feet.

Maintenance Check

Check the pads every six months for debris buildup. If the felt becomes embedded with sand or grit, replace the pad immediately to prevent the grit from scratching your floors.

Frequently asked questions

Will these stay on if I slide my chairs daily?

These pads feature a strong adhesive, but constant lateral sliding on textured floors can eventually peel them off. For best results, ensure the furniture leg is perfectly clean during installation.

Can I use these on outdoor patio furniture?

These are not recommended for outdoor use. Moisture and temperature fluctuations will cause the adhesive to fail and the felt to mold or deteriorate.

What is the thickness of these pads?

Each pad is approximately 1/8 inch thick. This is the ideal balance between providing a soft cushion and maintaining furniture stability.

Are they easy to remove later?

Yes, they can be peeled off. If any sticky residue remains, a small amount of adhesive remover or vegetable oil will safely clean the furniture leg.
