What it is

The Yelanon 182-Piece Felt Pad Set offers a straightforward solution for homeowners looking to silence screeching chairs and prevent permanent gouges on delicate flooring. This massive variety pack includes nine different sizes, ranging from tiny round dots for decorative items to large sheets that can be custom cut for heavy sofas or appliances. The high density synthetic felt provides a durable buffer that handles the vertical pressure of heavy furniture while allowing for smooth gliding during repositioning. What sets this kit apart is the organized storage box and the strength of the self-stick adhesive. Unlike cheaper alternatives that slide off within a week, these pads use a reinforced bonding agent designed to grip wooden, metal, and plastic furniture legs. It is an essential household utility kit that covers everything from the dining room set to the kitchen appliances, ensuring your hardwood, laminate, and tile surfaces remain pristine.

Ravvy AI insight

With over 17,000 reviews and a 4.5 rating, this set is a market leader in volume-to-price ratio. For the best longevity, prioritize using the custom-cut sheets for irregular legs, as these often provide more surface area for the adhesive than standard round dots.

Regular Maintenance

Check the pads every six months for compressed felt or hair buildup. If a pad becomes too flat or dirty, peel it off and replace it with a fresh one from the kit to maintain floor protection.

Frequently asked questions

Can these be used on chair legs that are angled?

Yes, these pads work on angled legs, but ensure the pad is centered on the point of contact. For highly angled legs, the adhesive may experience more shear force, so cleaning the surface before application is critical.

Are these pads thick enough for heavy sofas?

These are high-density felt pads designed to withstand significant weight. While they will compress slightly over time, they maintain enough thickness to prevent the furniture from touching the floor.

Will these work on tile or vinyl floors?

Absolutely. While marketed for hardwood, these pads are excellent for protecting luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and ceramic tile from scratches and scuffs caused by moving furniture.

Does the black color bleed onto light floors?

No, the synthetic felt is colorfast. Even if you mop near the furniture, the black dye will not transfer to your flooring or rugs under normal household conditions.
