What it is

The LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV 75376 celebrates the 25th anniversary of the theme with a sophisticated mid-scale recreation of the ship that started it all. This 654-piece set focuses on architectural accuracy rather than minifigure play, capturing the complex engine cluster and sleek silhouette of the Rebel blockade runner. The build process is engaging for adults, offering a balance of technical assembly and aesthetic satisfaction without the massive footprint of Ultimate Collector Series models. Designed specifically for display, the finished model sits on a sturdy integrated stand complete with a commemorative anniversary brick. Its compact size makes it an ideal choice for office desks or crowded bookshelves where space is at a premium. While it lacks an interior or play features, the exterior detailing on the turbolasers and the eleven rear engines provides a premium feel that honors the original filming miniature from A New Hope.

Ravvy AI insight

This set represents a strategic shift toward mid-scale builds that offer high detail without the high price of UCS sets. The price per piece is reasonable for a licensed anniversary kit, making it a low-risk entry point for new adult hobbyists. Expect the 25th-anniversary brick to add long-term value for completionists.

How to get the most out of it

Applying the Stickers

Use a pair of tweezers to align the small stickers on the curved elements. This ensures a centered finish and prevents finger oils from weakening the adhesive over time.

Ownership tips

tip

Handling the Engines

When moving the model, grip it by the central hull rather than the rear engine cluster. The eleven engines are detailed but can be sensitive to sideways pressure during transport.

Dusting Strategy

Because of the many small gaps and greebling, use a soft makeup brush or canned air to remove dust. Traditional cloths may snag on the small protruding pieces.

Frequently asked questions

Does this set include Princess Leia or any other minifigures?

No, this is part of the Starship Collection which focuses exclusively on the ship models. It is intended for display rather than minifigure-scale play.

Most adult builders will finish this set in approximately two to three hours. The 654 pieces are divided into numbered bags to make the process organized and relaxing.

This version is significantly smaller and more affordable. While the 2019 version was a large play-scale set with an interior, this 2024 version is a mid-scale display model designed for shelf aesthetics.
